How to set up Custom Notifications as a User in a Account
The Notification Manager in Stack empowers you to stay informed about crucial activities and updates through various channels. This feature is designed to help you manage the flow of notifications, allowing you to choose what you want to receive and how.
Using the Notification Manager
Section titled “Using the Notification Manager”To tailor your notification preferences, navigate to the Profile tab under Settings in your Stack account. Here, you can select the channels through which you’d like to receive notifications. When you click on a notification, you’ll be taken directly to the relevant screen within Stack.
Note: To receive notifications, ensure you are added to a account. Notifications will not be sent for leads not assigned to you if you only have data permissions enabled.
Notification Channels
Section titled “Notification Channels”Notifications in Stack can be delivered through several channels:

Web: Receive notifications directly within the Stack platform. This is the default setting.

Desktop Notifications: Stay updated even when you’re not actively using Stack. Ensure your browser settings allow notifications from the Stack website.

Mobile Application: Use the Stack mobile app to receive notifications on the go. Ensure notification permissions are enabled in your mobile settings.

Email: Opt to receive notifications via email if this channel is supported and selected in your preferences.
Notification Click-to-Redirect
Section titled “Notification Click-to-Redirect”When you receive a notification in the web app, clicking it will redirect you to the relevant section within Stack. Here’s how it works for different notification types:

How does the “Mark all as read” button work?
- This button changes all unread notifications to read status.
How many notifications can I scroll through before more load?
- You can view 25 notifications at a time before the next set loads.
What does the “Clear All” notifications step do?
- It removes all current notifications from your view. Note that once cleared, these notifications cannot be restored.
What happens to notifications if:
- Account gets deleted: Notifications from that account will cease. Notifications from other accounts will continue if you are added to them.
- User is removed from a account: Notifications from that specific account will stop. Notifications from other connected accounts will persist.
- User is deleted from all accounts: Notifications will stop across all accounts.
