Related Product element for Ecommerce stores
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Stack now offers a feature that allows store owners to suggest related products directly on their product details page. This enhancement not only enriches the product discovery experience for users but also boosts cross-selling opportunities by showcasing recommended or related products.
How to Use the Related Product Feature
Section titled “How to Use the Related Product Feature”To enable and customize the related products on your store’s product detail page, follow these steps:

Navigate to Your Store:
- Access the page builder for your product detail page.

Enable Related Products:
- Look for the option labeled Show related products and toggle it on.

Customize Display Settings:
- Number of Products: Choose how many related products you want to display. The default setting is 6.
- Layout Configuration: Set the number of columns for displaying products:
- Desktop: Default is 3 columns.
- Mobile: Default is 2 columns.
- Section Heading: Customize the heading for this section. By default, it is set to “You may also like”.

Save and Publish:
- Once you’ve made your selections, save your changes and publish the page to see the updates live.
Online Store Preview

Collection-Based Display: Products that share a common collection will appear as related products on the detail page of any product within that collection. For example, if a product like “iPhone 15” is included in both the “Apple” and “Summer Sale” collections, related products from these collections will be displayed. Initially, products from the “Apple” collection will be shown, followed by those from the “Summer Sale”, respecting the maximum limit of 10 related products.

Image Consistency: All product images will adhere to a 1:1 aspect ratio. This ensures a consistent and visually appealing user interface across all product listings.
By following these steps, you can effectively leverage the related products feature in Stack to enhance your customers’ shopping experience and increase sales potential.
