How to Mark a Post as Featured
Section titled “How to Mark a Post as Featured”Want to highlight a post? Here’s how you can easily feature it:
- Locate the Post: Find the post you wish to feature.
- Access Options: Click on the three dots menu (⋮) located on the post.
- Select “Pin”: Choose the “Pin” option to mark the post as featured.
Your post is now highlighted as “Featured” and will attract more attention from your audience.
Where Featured Posts Appear
Section titled “Where Featured Posts Appear”Featured posts have a prominent presence both in channels and on your home timeline.
Channel Level
Section titled “Channel Level”When you feature a post in a channel, it will automatically appear at the top of that channel’s content feed. This ensures that all members see it first when they visit the channel.
Home Timeline
Section titled “Home Timeline”Similarly, featuring a post on your Home Timeline places it right at the top of your home feed. This guarantees that your important content is front and center on your main dashboard.
How to Unpin a Featured Post
Section titled “How to Unpin a Featured Post”If you decide to unfeature a post, you can do so effortlessly:
- Find the Featured Post: Locate the post you wish to unpin.
- Open the Menu: Click the three dots menu (⋮) on the post.
- Select “Unpin”: Choose the “Unpin” option.
The post will no longer be featured but will remain accessible in its original location.
