Text-To-Pay Links

Payment links are a convenient way to request payments directly through conversations. Follow these steps to create and send a payment link using Stack.

Step 1: Connect Your Account with Stripe

To start using payment links, you need to integrate your Stack account with Stripe:

1. Navigate to Settings in your Stack dashboard.
2. Select Payments from the menu.
3. Click on the Connect Your Stripe Account button.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the integration with Stripe.

Step 2: Create an Invoice from a Conversation

Once your account is connected to Stripe, you can create an invoice directly within a conversation:

1. Open a conversation where you want to send a payment request.
2. Click on the Payment icon located below the text editor.
3. In the pop-up modal, fill in the necessary details:
   • Invoice Name: Give your invoice a descriptive name.
   • Price: Enter the amount you wish to charge.
   • Link Expiration/Due Date: Set a date for when the payment link should expire.
4. Click Save to generate the payment link.

The payment link will now appear in the conversation editor, ready to be sent to your contact. This allows them to complete the payment seamlessly.
