Product collection element and SEO Improvements

As a store owner using Stack, you can now showcase specific product collections on any page of your store. This feature allows you to add images and SEO details to your collections, enhancing the overall shopping experience.

How to Configure Collections

1. Set Up Your Collection:

   • Navigate to Payments > Products > Collections.
   • Here, you can update the collection’s name, add an image, and fill in SEO details like the SEO title, description, and handle.

2. Add Collections to Your Page:

   • Go to your store’s page builder.
   • Under the Store section in the elements, add the Collection List Element.

3. Customize Your Collection Display:

   • Initially, you’ll see three placeholder collections with default names and images.
   • Click on the element to access settings on the right side of the page.
   • Customize fields such as heading, margin, padding, colors, borders, and fonts.

4. Adjust the Layout:

   • By default, three collections are displayed per row.
   • Adjust the number of collections per row using the Number of columns field in the layout tab. You can display up to 5 columns on desktop and 2 on mobile.

5. Manage Headings:

   • If you prefer not to have a heading, leave the Headline field empty under Text options.

6. Select and Display Real Collections:

   • Click on any collection listed under the Collections group.
   • Select the desired collection to display its name and image in the builder.
   • Note: Ensure you select real collections to replace placeholders on your live site.

7. Finalize and Publish:

   • Click Save/Publish to apply your changes and view them on your site.

Key Features of Collection Images and SEO

• If a collection image is available, it will display prominently for that collection. Without an image, the collection’s text will be centered with a background.
• The uploaded image and SEO details will automatically generate SEO tags on the product list page, enhancing search visibility.

By following these steps, you can effectively manage and display your product collections, ensuring an engaging and optimized shopping experience for your customers.
