Welcome to your guide for navigating and customizing the Account Dashboard in Stack. This dashboard provides a dynamic overview of your account’s status, allowing you to tailor it to your needs.
What is the Account Dashboard?
Section titled “What is the Account Dashboard?”The Account Dashboard in Stack is a customizable space where you can monitor and report on various aspects of your account. It’s designed to be flexible, allowing you to add or modify widgets based on your specific needs.
Dashboard Modes and States
Section titled “Dashboard Modes and States”Dashboard States
Section titled “Dashboard States”- With Widgets: This is the typical state, featuring multiple widgets and elements.
- Without Widgets: If no widgets are present, you’ll see quick start options to help you get started by adding or creating widgets.
Dashboard Modes
Section titled “Dashboard Modes”- View Mode: Displays widgets with filters, enabling you to adjust dates and filters to analyze account activity.
- Edit Mode: Allows you to rearrange widgets, add or remove elements, and change themes or titles.
Dashboard Components Overview
Section titled “Dashboard Components Overview”- Dashboard Selection Menu: Accessed via a blue button with a panel icon, use this to choose different dashboards.
- Date Picker: Click to select a date range for your data.
- Edit Button: A pencil icon that switches the dashboard from view to edit mode.
- Action Menu: Three vertical dots icon for additional actions.
- Quick Filters Button: Opens a side panel for quick filter adjustments.
- Widgets: Lists all widgets currently on the dashboard.
- Quick Start Options: Available when no widgets are present.
Creating and Adding to Dashboards
Section titled “Creating and Adding to Dashboards”Creating a New Dashboard
Section titled “Creating a New Dashboard”- Dashboard Name Field: Enter a name for your new dashboard.
- Private Dashboard Toggle: Decide if the dashboard should be private.
- Access Options: Set permissions for different user roles.
- Confirm Button: Finalize and create your new dashboard.
Creating a Dashboard from a Template
Section titled “Creating a Dashboard from a Template”- Filters Button: Show or hide filter options.
- Search Field: Find templates by keywords.
- Order Dropdown: Sort templates by popularity or recency.
- Template List: Browse available templates and select your preferred one.
Cloning an Existing Dashboard
Section titled “Cloning an Existing Dashboard”- Select Dashboard Dropdown: Choose an existing dashboard to clone.
- Dashboard Name Field: Edit the name for the cloned dashboard.
- Clone Button: Create and open the cloned dashboard.
Widgets in View and Edit Modes
Section titled “Widgets in View and Edit Modes”Widgets in View Mode
Section titled “Widgets in View Mode”- Widget Display: View data and interact with it through various options like source selection and date properties.
- Records Granular Data: Click on a widget to see detailed data, which can be exported.
Widgets in Edit Mode
Section titled “Widgets in Edit Mode”- Drag and Drop Handle: Rearrange widgets by dragging them.
- Action Menu: Access options to edit, duplicate, or delete widgets.
- Resize Handle: Adjust widget size by dragging the corner.
Adding or Editing Widgets
Section titled “Adding or Editing Widgets”- Add Widget Button: Open the side panel to add or edit widgets.
- Widgets Tab: Manage widget controls.
- Themes Tab: Adjust the dashboard’s theme.
Quick Filters
Section titled “Quick Filters”- Clear Filters Button: Remove all active quick filters.
- Filter List: Manage up to five filters at a time.
- Add Quick Filters Button: Introduce new quick filters.
- Apply Button: Save and apply filter changes.
