Restore Deleted Calendars

Overview

Accidentally deleted a calendar in Stack? No worries! With the “Restore Calendar” feature, you can easily recover deleted calendars along with their appointments. This feature ensures that you can quickly undo any accidental deletions.

How to Restore a Deleted Calendar

To restore a deleted calendar and its appointments, follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings and select Audit Logs.
2. Find the log entry for the calendar you deleted.
3. Click on the three dots next to the log entry.
4. Select Restore.

Once completed, your calendar and all associated appointments will be restored.

Important Points to Note

• When a calendar is deleted, all its appointments are also removed.
• Appointments deleted within 30 minutes of the calendar deletion can be restored.
• Appointments deleted outside this 30-minute window will not be recovered.
• Audit logs are available for up to 60 days, so make sure to restore any needed calendars promptly to prevent data loss.

Example

Suppose you delete a calendar on May 15th at 10:00 AM. All appointments linked to this calendar will be deleted immediately. If you restore the calendar, any appointments deleted within 30 minutes of this time will be restored. However, if an appointment was deleted at 9:00 AM on the same day, it won’t be recovered. This ensures that only appointments deleted due to the calendar’s removal are restored, not those deleted at a different time.
