How to Use Apple Pay and Google Pay

Once enabled, Google Pay will automatically appear alongside the credit card option on your order forms. To display Apple Pay, ensure your domain is registered with Stripe. After setup, both Apple Pay and Google Pay will be available, supporting recurring payments and upsells.

Your customers will see these options based on their geographic location and browser compatibility, provided they have a payment method linked to their Google or Apple account.

Note: This feature is compatible with Version 2 Funnels. Ensure your funnels are updated to V2 for optimal functionality.

Enabling Apple Pay and Google Pay

To enable these payment options, connect your Stripe account through the Payments ➝ Integrations page in Stack. Once connected, toggle the option to activate Apple Pay and Google Pay on your order forms.

Troubleshooting Apple Pay

1. Ensure the Toggle is On: Confirm that Apple Pay and Google Pay are enabled while Stripe is connected.
2. Country Availability: Verify that Apple Pay is supported in your country.
3. Domain Registration:
   • Check your Stripe dashboard to ensure your domain is listed under Web Domains.
   • If not listed, manually add your domain or contact support if automatic registration fails.
4. Domain Association File: Ensure the domain association file is accessible at https://yourdomain.com/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association.
5. Device and Browser Requirements:

There will be no changes. Transactions via Apple Pay and Google Pay are treated as card payments in your reports.

There is no pricing difference; both are charged similarly to credit card transactions.

I’m using PayPal instead of Stripe. Can I offer Apple Pay and Google Pay?

No, these payment methods require Stripe Connect and are only available in Version 2 Funnels.
