Jotform to Stack
Transitioning from JotForm to Stack can enhance your marketing and CRM capabilities. This guide will walk you through the steps to migrate your forms, data, and workflows smoothly.
Preparation for Migration

- Document Form Workflows: Note how each form interacts with your workflows and third-party integrations.
- Assess Data Volume: Evaluate the data volume, including form submissions and contact information.
Step 2: Define Migration Goals
Section titled “Step 2: Define Migration Goals”- Set Clear Objectives: Decide what you aim to achieve with Stack, such as improved automation or better CRM integration.
- Prioritize Features: Determine which forms and data are crucial to migrate first.
Step 3: Prepare Backup
Section titled “Step 3: Prepare Backup”- Export Data from JotForm: Export all necessary data, including form submissions and templates.
- Backup Data: Securely back up all data before starting the migration.
Migrate Data

Section titled “Step 1: Export Data from JotForm”- Export Form Submissions: Export submissions from JotForm as CSV files.
- Export Form Templates: Save copies of your templates for reference.
Step 2: Import Data into Stack

Sites > Formsin Stack and use the form builder to recreate your forms, ensuring all fields match. - Import Contacts: Navigate to
Contacts > Import Contactsto upload your CSV files. - Set Up Custom Fields: Create any necessary custom fields in Stack to match your JotForm data.
Migrate Forms and Workflows

- Evaluate Workflow Complexity: Assess each workflow’s complexity for replication in Stack.
Step 2: Recreate Workflows in Stack

Automation > Workflowsin Stack to set up triggers for form submissions. - Rebuild Actions and Conditions: Recreate actions like sending emails or updating records, and set up conditions to mirror existing workflows.
Step 3: Test Workflows
Section titled “Step 3: Test Workflows”- Run Tests: Thoroughly test workflows before activation to ensure functionality.
- Adjust Settings: Make necessary adjustments based on test results.
Migrate Integrations and Notifications

- Set Up Integrations in Stack: Use Stack’s integrations or Zapier to connect to external applications via
Settings > Integrations.

Automation > Workflows, set up notifications for form submissions. - Configure Autoresponders: Create automated email sequences to trigger upon form submission.
Final Checks and Training

Decommissioning JotForm
