How to set up the NMI integration?

NMI (Network Merchants Inc.) is a trusted payment gateway service that helps businesses process online transactions securely and efficiently. With NMI, you can accept credit card and eCheck payments through various channels like websites, mobile apps, and in-person systems.

NMI provides several features for businesses:

  • Multiple Currencies and Payment Methods: Accept payments in various currencies, catering to a global audience.

  • Fraud Prevention: Tools like Address Verification System (AVS) and Card Verification Value (CVV) help prevent fraudulent transactions.

You can integrate NMI with order forms, invoices, and Text2Pay links in Stack. Here’s how to set it up:

  1. Gather Your NMI Credentials:

    • You will need your Gateway ID, Security Key, and Public Key.
    • Find your Gateway ID in your merchant account under Settings > Account Information.
  2. Enter Credentials in Stack:

    • Go to Payments > Integrations in your Stack account.
    • Fill in the required fields with your NMI keys and click Save.

Note: Ensure you are using funnels version 2 to enable this feature.

Where can I use the NMI integration to accept payments?

NMI can process payments through:

  • Order forms in funnels version 2, including one-step and two-step forms and one-click upsells.
  • Invoice payments.
  • Text2Pay link payments.

No, syncing products is not necessary. Create a product under Payments > Products, and it will function according to the price set during creation or editing.

What payment methods are supported with NMI?

Currently, only credit/debit card payments are supported. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and e-checks are not supported.

Yes, you can connect both Stripe and NMI, but only one can be set as the default gateway for processing order form payments.

Yes, recurring purchases are supported. Track subscriptions under Payments > Subscriptions and order details under the Orders and Transactions table.

How do I cancel a subscription created via NMI?

Cancel subscriptions on the Subscriptions page using the ‘Cancel Subscription’ action.

Currently, refunds must be processed through the merchant portal.

Track subscriptions under Payments > Subscriptions. Subscription statuses include Pending, Trial, Active, Expired, Canceled, and Unpaid.
