Adding the Search Bar to Your Store

You can seamlessly integrate the Search Bar into your store in two ways: as part of the navigation menu or as a standalone element on your website.

Adding the Search Bar Element

1. Access the Page Builder: Go to your store’s page builder.
2. Insert the Search Bar: Locate the “Add elements” section under “Store” and select the Search Bar element.
3. Customize Your Search Bar: Adjust the following properties to match your store’s design:
   • Search Button Color
   • Search Input Box Text and Background Color
   • Search Dropdown Text and Background Color
   • Border Color for Input Field and Dropdown
   • Font Size and Weights
4. Save Your Changes: Click on Save/Publish to apply the updates to your site.

Integrating the Search Bar in the Navigation Menu

• Enable the Search Bar: Use the “Show Search Bar” toggle in the navigation menu settings to add the search functionality directly to your navigation.

Important Notes

• Customization Options: While the standalone Search Bar element offers extensive customization, the navigation menu version has limited customization options.
• Search Functionality: The search suggestions dropdown will display results based on the product title or name. When a search is performed, results will be shown on the product list page, considering both titles and descriptions.
