How to Create and Send Estimates Using
What’s New?
Section titled “What’s New?”We’re excited to introduce the new Estimates feature in Stack! This tool allows you to create and share estimates with your clients before sending a final invoice. Clients can easily accept or reject estimates, and you can convert accepted estimates into invoices effortlessly.
How to Use?
Section titled “How to Use?”Access Estimates
Section titled “Access Estimates”- Navigate to the Payments section in your Stack account.
- Click on Invoices and Estimates and then select Estimates.
Create an Estimate
Section titled “Create an Estimate”- Click on the New button.
- Enter the necessary details, including business information, customer information, estimate number, and expiry date.
- Add products to your estimate and click on Send.
Send to Client
Section titled “Send to Client”Review the estimate and send it directly to your client via email or SMS.
Convert to Invoice
Section titled “Convert to Invoice”Once your client approves the estimate, you can convert it into an invoice by:
- Selecting Create an Invoice from the dashboard.
- Opening the accepted estimate and clicking on Create an Invoice.
Track Your Estimates
Section titled “Track Your Estimates”- Monitor estimates at various stages: Draft, Sent, Accepted, Declined, and Invoiced.
- Keep an eye on the value of estimates in your pipeline using the dashboard cards.
- Track notes added by users both on the dashboard and within the estimate builder.
Customize Your Estimate
Section titled “Customize Your Estimate”Personalize your estimate by adding your company’s branding, terms, and making adjustments in the settings.
